| Some of the benefits to the Karate Kids program: | |
| Improved self confidence | |
| Teaches kids how to defend themselves | |
| Teaches your child to escape harmful situations | |
| Teaches fundamental skills that will help children throughout their lives | |
| Teaches kids the 4 "Mental Aspects of Learning and Training" | |
| The "Defeat the Bully WITHOUT Fighting Program" teaches Karate Kids how to deal with teasing and bullying without becoming a victim or getting into fights | |
Our Tweens program is a curriculum designed for teenagers, 11 - 15 years old - that age group "in between" children and adults. This program incorporates self-defense training in challenging, exciting ways such as sparring, team-building drills, Defeat the Bully without Fighting lessons, etc.
| Some of the benefits of the Tweens program: | |
| Help teens create their own identity in the face of peer pressure and being influenced by what others want them to be | |
| Help teens learn to stand up for their beliefs | |
| The program helps teens gain self-awareness through their own accomplishments and cooperation with other students toward a common goal of self-improvement and skills development | |
| Provides a defense against Gangs and their influence because Scornavacco Family Karate offers teens a positive community and constructive role models.Teens will benefit from a reward program based on positive achievement rather than violent criminal activity | |
Most importantly, teens will be shown the same amount of respect given to adults; they will not be treated as children. For that reason, Tweens are usually tested along with adults.
