KENPO
KARATE ADULT CURRICULUM
The
American Kenpo program is for students who like a logical,
step-by-step, left-brain approach to learning the martial
arts.
Kenpo has a well-structured curriculum which
follows the traditional belt-rank advancement process until
Black Belt.
Kenpo
is a principle-based self-defense system that is taught by
technique “examples”. Each technique that
the student learns highlights and illustrates a particular
principle of motion. Students learn the principle by
technique practice and then expand on the principle to use
it in various different attacks and self-defense scenarios
until it becomes ingrained and spontaneously useful.
